On January 27 2026, India signed a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the European Union. This agreement opens up new opportunities for European companies in India, as import tariffs on many products and services will be lowered or disappear altogether. As the agreement will come into force from January 2027 onwards, this is the time to re-evaluate the opportunities for your company in India.

That’s why we offer the India Readiness Check. With this check, you will get a brief from our experts on the most important aspects of the FTA, and what this means for foreign companies in India.  The check further includes a high-level review of the business case for your product in India, and we will evaluate your readiness to sell, source or produce in India.
